Eat, Fast and Live Longer
Please note changes to the programme on Saturday:
On behalf of the Cavendish SSA, UWSU, Dr Michael Mosley and his team, we regret to announce that the Saturday programme of the Westminster Science Festival has had to be cancelled in its entirety.
Due to events beyond control, Dr Mosley has had to withdraw from the appearance, offering his most sincere apologies, as he had very much hoped to be here. We are in talks to reschedule another event with Dr Mosley for 2013 - 2014, at which time he will have even more exciting news about the research behind fasting, mindfulness and Alzheimer's disease.
We're aware that there has been much anticipation and preparation, and though it's no substitute for the Saturday events planned, please accept our deepest apologies for the inconvenience and disappointment.
We hope that the students of the University of Westminster will enjoy the Fair on Friday 15th March and we'll still be opening our doors to the general public on Thursday 14th March for a dazzling night of science based entertainment, comedy and music at Stand Up... FOR SCIENCE! in the Pavilion at Cavendish from 18:30.
Thank you for your understanding and patience,
Nicole Slavin, Chairman, SSA Cavendish
Miriam Hanna, Vice President of Cavendish UWSU
