The award-winning Sociology teaching team in the Department of History, Sociology and Criminology have published the fourth edition of the annual Westminster Sociology Anthology.

The anthology showcases some of the innovative and outstanding work produced by their undergraduate dissertation students.

It was presented by co-course leader Dr Ben Pitcher at this year’s graduation ceremony at the Royal Festival Hall. It comprises the work of final year students who have explored subjects including sexism in the music scene, South Asian women's aspirations, the impact of suicide on the bereaved, attitudes to veganism, and the experiences of women who have been the partner of a prisoner.

Dr Pitcher explained: "Our Sociology Anthology is an example of the fascinating and socially committed research that our students produce at Westminster, inspired by our approach to research-led teaching."
