Graduates Sarah Betts (cover picture, second from the right) and Jeffrey Howard (pictured below) both won for their final Master’s dissertation work. While Sarah’s work focused on a study of the proposed workplace parking levy in Cambridge, Jeffrey’s work explored the possibility of implementing a Flat Fare Structure on the London Underground.
Sarah and Jeffrey received certificates during the graduation ceremony which took place in November and were rewarded £125 for their work. The CIHT Foundation provides grants for educational or innovative activities and projects that advance the art and science of highways and transportation.
The MSc in Transport Planning and Management at the University of Westminster is one of the approved Master’s degrees for the Transport Planning Professional qualification which provides professional recognition for transport planners at a level similar to that of Chartered Engineer.
