Students and staff from the MSc Architecture and Environmental Design (AED) programme recently attended the PLEA (Passive Low Energy Architecture) conference in Edinburgh.

PLEA (Passive Low Energy Architecture) is a global network that has led a worldwide discourse on sustainable architecture and urban design through its conferences since 1982. It has a membership of thousands of professionals, academics, students and industry members from over 40 countries.

Presenting at the conference were MSc and PhD AED students Noor Deraz, Vai Enos, Sharmeen Khan, Pepe Puchol, Talia Quesada, Jil Schroth and Phil Saleh.

Special congratulations to Pepe Puchol who was this year’s recipient of the Jeffrey Cook Award, and who also received a Commendation in the Best Paper category with his thesis project: Sustainable Retrofit for Flooding Resilience."
