The new pre-experience MBA course is now open for applications for those looking to enhance career prospects in business and leadership through a truly 21st century curriculum.
The innovative MBA combines academic rigour, stimulating teaching approaches and practical business leadership. Setting them apart in a competitive job market, students will graduate with direct experience from a three-month internship and the holistic business knowledge, capabilities and cutting-edge digital expertise demanded by today’s employers.
Recognising the growing importance of technology and preparing applicants for careers in a 2020s digital world, students will explore some of the latest developments, including blockchain, big data, artificial intelligence, the growth of ecosystems and the sharing economy.
The University expects MBA graduates to go on to secure management and leadership roles in corporate companies, start-ups, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), public sector and non-profit organisations.
This MBA is a pre-experience qualification, so work experience is not required but is welcome. Applicants need to achieve the minimum of an upper second-class honours degree (2:1) in any discipline.
Dr Paul Langley, the MBA course leader, said: “We expect Westminster MBA students to be passionate young graduates from any academic discipline, including business, science, engineering, liberal arts, humanities or social sciences, with the ambition and drive to excel in management positions. As a teaching team, we want to help and support you to strive for excellence, with attributes in innovation, personal agility, adaptability and resilience.”
