We will be carrying out planned maintenance work on IT services from 7am on Saturday 1 February to 11.59pm on Sunday 2 February 2014.

What this means for you

We aim to minimise disruption. However all staff and students may notice brief interruptions to some IT services over the weekend.

Marylebone and Harrow home and shared drives will be unavailable during the weekend.

Blackboard and Google Mail services will not be affected, and Library services should operate as normal.

Why we have planned maintenance weekends

There are three scheduled weekend maintenance periods per year to enable us to carry out essential systems upgrades and also test our business continuity processes. The completion of this kind of maintenance over weekend periods minimises disruption to teaching and business functions.

The next IT services weekend maintenance periods are scheduled for 12-13 April and 26-27 July.

The dates are planned a year in advance and are published on the University website along with other key dates in the University Calendar.
