The Student Health Service, part of the Student Affairs Department, is a free, confidential nurse-led service available to all students.

We are based at both the Harrow and Marylebone campuses. The two nurses are Sue and Martin. We also have two Doctor Clinics each week.

Student life can be challenging in many ways. We are here to help not only with physical concerns/conditions but also to help students who are feeling stressed and anxious. We see many students who are feeling pressure to fit in and or to perform and maintain levels of excellence and this is not always easy or possible, sometimes just having someone to talk to can help.

We see students for many reasons including (not limited to):

  • Physically unwell
  • Advice on managing chronic conditions
  • Loneliness, Stress and Anxiety
  • Advice on registering with a G.P and how the NHS works
  • Healthy living/ Health promotion
  • Sexual and reproductive health
  • Alcohol and drug misuse

We also work closely with the counselling team and are able to make referrals for talking Therapies including CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy)

If you have any health concerns or are struggling in any way please come and see us. More information can be found on the health services webpage
