Dr Nitasha Kaul, Reader (Associate Professor) in Politics and International Relations at the University of Westminster, was invited to share her views on news and current affairs on the two-hour BBC World Service Weekend programme on Saturday 3 December 2022.

Dr Kaul spoke on a variety of topics, including the conflict in the context of Democratic Republic of Congo and Rwanda; Malawi's Malaria vaccine rollout; protests in China and the easing of some of its Covid restrictions; the creative and artistic power of artificial intelligence (AI); the controversy over the film Kashmir Files in India; the row over the racist remarks made by a senior member of staff to Black British charity leader invited to a Buckingham Palace reception; and the ongoing conflict in Ukraine. 

She was also asked about her ongoing work, including on Kashmir, Bhutan, misogyny, and democracy.
