As part of World in Westminster, the University of Westminster invites you to us for a festive gathering for Chanukah.

We hope you will find a home away from home, a community over shared beliefs and a warm feeling of togetherness. Chanukah is the Jewish festival of lights, and we want to bring our community together to learn about the joys, food, and camaraderie involved for awareness and celebration. The word 'Chanukah' means 'Dedication' in Hebrew. It celebrates a miracle that happened in Jerusalem over 2,000 years ago. In the spirit of cross-cultural learning and promotion of diversity and inclusivity, this celebratory event is open to all. We welcome colleagues, students, friends, and families from all faiths and none.
Let us come together to celebrate diversity; foster connections; explore different cultures; taste latkes, sufganiyot and other dishes; play dreidel; and create a more respectful world for everyone.
"The World in Westminster" series is part of the Westminster Programme for Enhancing Inclusion, Belonging, and Sustainable Development.
