About the Event

Poet, performer and life coach Patricia Foster McKenley, who at the intersection of being Black, a woman, Christian, over fifty years of age and British of Jamaican heritage, shares her personal experiences, as well as her writing and coping methods, during the Covid pandemic and rise in global Black trauma.

She will also discuss how this intense period powerfully and profoundly informed her writing, invariably uncovering her own intersectionality and place in society. The discussion will be followed by a Q&A session.
