In collaboration with Migrants' Rights Network, join us for a screening of a fascinating and subtly provocative film, dealing with the consequences of Britain's harsh stance on migration and how the crisis 'out there' is instrinsically linked with our lives at home.

The screening will be followed by a panel discussion on the issues raised - particularly the controversies of the new Immigration Bill currently going through the House of Lords; and what students can do to engage with the issue.

Panel members:

  • Orson Varva, Director, Everyday Borders
  • Dorrie Chetty, Senior Lecturer in Sociology, University of Westminster
  • Dr Nitasha Kaul, Lecturer, Dept. of Politics and International Relations, University of Westminster

Chair

Dr Hannah Cross, Lecturer in International Relations, University of Westminster

All welcome.
