Join us for an online yoga event organised by the Yoga Research Network, a group to support applied yoga research in the UK.

This event is organised by the Yoga Research Network, a group to support applied yoga research in the UK.
The aim of the event is to provide tips, support and ideas for those looking to gain funding for yoga research.
We have invited three speakers who have experience of gaining funding for yoga or complementary therapy research. They will discuss their experiences of gaining research funding – with a focus on giving attendees guidance, ideas and inspiration for getting their own funding. Each guest will give a short talk, followed by a panel discussion with Q&A.
Speakers
- Professor Nicky Robinson, London South Bank University
- Professor Rosie Meek, Department of Law and Criminology, Royal Holloway, University of London
- Dr Tina Cartwright, School of Social Sciences, University of Westminster
This talk is for those:
- Researchers doing yoga research
- Researchers who have skills to support yoga research (e.g. health economists, RCT specialists)
- Those looking to get into yoga research
- Qualitative or quantitative researchers
- PhD students, early career researchers or more experienced researchers
- Focus is on applied research (not study of yogic texts)
