A CCC-CVAA Forum (Contemporary China Centre, University of Westminster; Contemporary Visual Arts Asia, Birmingham City University).

Asian Art in a Precarious World brings together artists, museum professionals, curators and scholars for two panel discussions exploring the conditions shaping contemporary Asian art. The forum examines artistic practices, institutional perspectives and exchange across various cultural contexts amid economic uncertainty and geopolitical tensions. It considers how artists and institutions are responding to these shifting circumstances, and how Asian art is defined, presented and interpreted within increasingly complex international frameworks.

This event is co-convened by CVAA and CCC, and funded by Art Interconnection Research Foundation.
