Winners of the UWSU election 2024 announced

The Students' Union election is an annual democratic process that enables students to elect their future student leaders to represent them in a range of matters; from academic, social and wellbeing needs at Westminster. Officers exist for the students to ensure the Westminster experience far exceeds their expectations, and that they're looked after during their time at University.

After a week of campaigning and debate, the results were announced during a ceremony taking place on Tuesday 12 March at Regent campus’s Hideaway space.

The elected full-time sabbatical officers are:

• UWSU President: Divanshu Airan
• Vice President of Activities: Vivian Barton
• Vice President of Welfare: Adil Musani
• Vice President of Undergraduate Education: Suhavee Sethi
• Vice President of Postgraduate Education: Chidambar Yogesh Dhapatkar

Congratulations to all the elected officers who demonstrated exceptional leadership skills and a passion for making a positive impact on the university community.

A massive thanks to all the candidates who participated in the election and for all the hard work and dedication that were put into the university community.

The Students' Union are excited to have the new team of officers onboard as they start their term in July and will support them in making their manifesto a reality for all Westminster students.
