Applications for the next round of the Students as Co-Creators programme are now open until Wednesday 29 October 2025.
This programme is an opportunity to work alongside staff members at Westminster on research projects around higher education.
Partnership projects can create the space to address issues of social justice in academia, to approach decolonising your curricula, and to conduct disciplinary and interdisciplinary research.
You’ll also be given the chance to conduct various forms of research to improve your course and modules.
If you have an idea about how to improve your learning experience, you could receive up to £500 worth of funding and a £150 bursary to turn that idea into a reality – adding real value to your time at university.
How to apply
As part of the programme, you can apply to each of the three different options:
- Curriculum Design Collaborations: work with academic colleagues to develop an aspect of your course or module. This may be revising course materials or the syllabus, for example.
- Disciplinary Research Collaborations: collaborate with colleagues to conduct subject-specific research.
- Learning and Teaching Research Collaborations: partner with colleagues to explore an area of interest in learning, teaching or the student experience.
