These interactive modules focus on the core skills you need to excel, from presenting with confidence to writing clear, well-structured assignments, researching effectively, and using AI responsibly to support your work.
Students who take these modules often see improvements across all their assessments and feel better prepared for future study and career success.
Available modules include:
- Level 4 – Academic English for Disciplinary Study (4ALDS001W): build essential skills in academic writing, research, presentations, and critical thinking. You can watch this video to find out more about the Academic English for Disciplinary Study module.
- Level 4 – Academic Spoken Communication Skills for International Students (4ESOL001W): improve your spoken English for seminars, group work, and presentations.
- Level 5 – Academic English for Disciplinary Study (5ALDS001W): advance your skills for higher-level writing, research, and presentations.
