The new service, due to launch at the end of the month, will become the first point of contact for any enquiries you have, providing support directly or referring you to the appropriate service.
The Library and Student Centre service will enable you to quickly access the support you need in one place, without the need to visit several different service points.
The service, launching on 30 August, will operate both on site, at our Marylebone and Harrow campuses (and at our Cavendish campus from 19 September), and will also be accessible online via the Student Hub Live Chat.
Keep an eye on your Student Hub for further information about the Library and Student Centre, including confirmed opening hours and other ways to get in touch.
Library refurbishment work
As part of the wider work which has been taking place over the summer to prepare for the new service launch, Marylebone Library will re-open on 30 August, with an additional entrance among other improvements to the space. The Library and Student Centre service point at Marylebone will be located on the ground floor of the library.
Cavendish Library will re-open on 19 September, with extensive refurbishment on all levels. Work has included an additional level of study space, a newly configured PC suite, an increased number of computer terminals, the entire collection from our Fitzrovia libraries (i.e. our Cavendish and Little Titchfield Street libraries) in one place, and a wider range of study spaces to meet your needs. Further benefits include an increased amount of natural light and a refreshed look and feel library. The Library and Student Centre service point at Cavendish will be located on the third floor of the library.
Little Titchfield Street Library will close from 7 September for refurbishment and will re-open as a one-floor reading room.
