Help shape the future of equity at Westminster

Athena SWAN is a programme that supports universities to ensure everyone—especially women and underrepresented groups—has the opportunity to succeed in their studies and careers.

At the University of Westminster, we are working towards achieving Athena SWAN Silver Accreditation. As part of this, we would like to hear about your experiences related to gender, ethnicity, sexuality, faith, belief, or any other aspects of diversity and inclusion at Westminster.

We invite you to take part in a qualitative study that includes a short screening questionnaire and, if selected, an interview.

To participate, please complete our screening questionnaire via this link. This will help us ensure a diverse range of student voices are included. After submission, we’ll assess responses to ensure broad representation, and a member of the research team will contact you to let you know if you have been selected for an interview. Please note it may take some time to hear back.

Interviews can be conducted online or in person at Westminster, either one-to-one or in a group setting, depending on your preference. As a thank-you, all interview participants will be offered a £25 gift voucher.

Your responses will be treated with strict confidentiality by the research team. The study has been approved by the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences Ethics Committee (#ETH2425-1331).

We look forward to hearing from you!
