The University extends warm wishes to all our students, alumni, colleagues, and friends marking the religious festival of Easter over the long weekend.
Sunday 5 April sees the culmination of Christian Holy Week, with Easter Sunday commemorating the resurrection of Jesus from the dead, as recounted in the Christian Bible’s New Testament. Easter celebrations also mark the end of Lent, a 40-day period of fasting and prayer which comes to a close during Holy Week.
We wish a very happy Easter to all students, alumni, colleagues and friends who are celebrating.
