Eid Mubarak (meaning 'have a blessed festival') to all of our colleagues, students, alumni and community members celebrating on Friday 6 June.

Eid al-Adha, ‘the Festival of Sacrifice’, is one of the most important festivals in the Muslim calendar, this notably marks the end of Hajj which is the Islamic pilgrimage to Mecca - one of the five pillars of Islam.
The day of Eid al-Adha has been announced as Friday 6 June, so begins at sunset on Thursday and can be celebrated up to three days, this would see Eid al-Adha ending at sunset on Sunday.
