Join us for the World in Westminster Festival: Diwali Celebrations! This gathering promises great food, cultural awareness, positive vibes, and wonderful company.

Diwali, often referred to as the Festival of Lights, is celebrated by many Hindus, Jains, and Sikhs. We are thrilled to present our World in Westminster Diwali celebrations to our community. Don’t miss the opportunity to be part of a diverse and vibrant atmosphere. Join us as we come together to celebrate with a blend of culture and conversation.

Many people celebrate Diwali by wearing bright colours, especially red. You’re welcome to wear something red to join in the festive spirit. Let’s celebrate diversity, build connections, learn about different cultures, and make the world feel a little cosier at the World in Westminster.

Our EDI events bring people together to celebrate the diverse cultures, identities and experiences that make the University of Westminster unique. Through engaging discussions, shared learning and meaningful connections, we champion inclusion, foster a sense of belonging and highlight diversity as one of our greatest strengths.

This is a ticketed event - please book your place and have your ticket ready on arrival.
