The Westminster Big Idea Competition is our annual University-wide student and graduate business idea and innovation competition, in partnership with Santander Universities UK.
The competition encourages and supports applicants to develop their entrepreneurial skills and to build and grow their businesses. After attending upskill workshops at a 2-day Bootcamp to support their growth, finalists are pitching for a prize from a £50,000+ prize fund, including mentoring.
This event is a showcase and celebration of the University’s entrepreneurial student and graduate talent. The 35 finalists across three categories: Freelance, Ideate and Accelerate will pitch their businesses to a panel of judges. The judges will ask questions, select the winners and runner-ups of the competition and allocate prizes from the funding pot.
