About the event
Thanks to an institutional agreement between the University and the United Nations Migration Agency, known as the IOM, Westminster students can apply for exclusive internship opportunities at IOM offices around the world. Westminster’s IOM interns receive funding in support of their internships from dedicated University funds.
At this important online briefing session, IOM representatives will provide information about this UN agency and the internship programme, and will answer all your questions to help you submit a strong application. There will also be a discussion about the logistics and the funding process for the programme.
The 2023 internship opportunities will be publicised soon, so this is an excellent opportunity to hear about the programme and have all your questions answered before applying.
In 2022, six Westminster students completed their internships ranging from 3 to 9 months in IOM offices in Geneva, London, Dhaka and Vienna. You can read about their inspiring experiences here and here.
IOM internship applications are open to L5 and L6 undergraduate and postgraduate students.
