The Westminster Student Partnership team is thrilled to host the part one of the first international Students as Partners Roundtable 2025.
This year, the roundtable will reflect Westminster’s commitment to student partnership grounded in social justice. We strive to ask radical questions, centre minoritised groups and challenge traditional knowledge creation approaches. In recent years, there has been growing interest in the intersections between partnership and social justice, with important practical and theoretical work emerging across a number of contexts. Our event will build on these developments, creating space for students and staff from around the world to come together in dialogue around the role of partnership in anti-racist, decolonial, and feminist work.
The roundtable offers students and colleagues a unique opportunity to lead social justice and student partnership conversations internationally and facilitate and connect to a global network. The roundtable will consist of highly interactive and creative workshops that explore how we work through student-staff partnership modes to bring about change. Workshops will be delivered by teams of students and staff who will work together to design and develop the content and materials.
This will be a hybrid event, offering both in-person and online participation options.
