Neurodiversity Celebration event

Neurodiversity week, running from 18-24 March, is an annual event celebrating the strengths of the 15 to 20 percent of the population who think and process information differently.

Neurodiversity is an umbrella term covering autism, ADHD, dyslexia and dyspraxia.

The University will be joining in with this celebration with an event, organised by the Disability Learning Support (DLS) Team, at Harrow Campus in the Forum on Monday 18 March, from 11am-3pm.

Colleagues will provide support and resources and will answer the following questions:

  • What do I do if I think I might be neurodiverse?
  • How do I access support with the DLS team?
  • How can the library support me in my studies?
  • How can assistive technology and software help me?
  • As part of the event, there will be opportunities to meet assistive software specialists from Ability Net who will provide demos of assistive software.
