You've nailed the interview and been offered the job, but now it's time to actually start work and you're feeling a little scared and overwhelmed! 

In this workshop, led by expert graduate career coach Shoshanna Davis, AKA Fairy Job Mother, we'll cover every step you need to take to put your nerves to rest and set yourself up for success in your new role. 

This session covers: 

  • The 'do's' and 'dont's' of starting a new job
  • Things you can to do help you to prep before starting
  • Basic workplace/hybrid/remote etiquette
  • How to write emails, use Outlook and manage your calendar
  • Things to consider and questions to ask your manager
  • The importance of setting careers goals & how to set career goals
  • Failure and rejection: why they happen and why they're OK!
  • Interactive element: building a 30,60,90 day plan for starting a new role

After attending you'll walk away with actionable steps to implement to set yourself up for success in your new job and improve your confidence. 

Attendees will also be able to ask questions during a Q&A at the end of the event.
