Fairs and events
Whether you are a multinational organisation, a local SME or a new start-up, we have a variety of solutions to enable you to raise your profile among Westminster students and graduates.
Our careers fairs are the most-marketed employer events hosted by the University of Westminster. These are an excellent way for organisations to have mass exposure to large pools of potential recruits, and an excellent opportunity to raise your brand awareness among the student and graduate population.
Networking events and panel discussions
These events are a great way to meet students interested in a career in your industry as well as network with professionals who work in your area. It is also a great opportunity to meet staff within the University and find out more about how the University can support you and your business.
Skills sessions and employer presentations
These sessions are a great way to share knowledge and professional experiences with the new generation of industry professionals and help your organisation to create memorable high-quality interactions with students. These sessions can be arranged as part of our regular employer sessions held throughout the academic year or as part of our Summer Skills Academy.
Previous sessions have included topics such as:
- Effective verbal communication and body language
- Writing effective industry-specific job applications
- Business etiquette and influential communication
- First steps and careers in the industry
- Self-management and teamwork
Promotional stands and drop-ins
This is an excellent way to meet large numbers of students on a more informal basis. Your stand will be located in an area with high footfall within the University, which is great to raise brand awareness and promote any upcoming vacancies or events your organisation may have.
