The University of Westminster’s Creative Enterprise Centre announced the launch of the Creative Talent Festival which will take place on Thursday 11 October.

This new style of careers fair will connect employers, speakers, students and recent graduates to discuss topics ranging from leadership and time management to self-improvement and mindfulness at the work place.

Throughout the event, introduced by the Creative Enterprise Centre, students will be able to develop their career plans and become more confident in the job seeking process. They will have the opportunity to attend a portfolio and CV clinic, where they can receive guidance from employers and creative industry experts.

The festival will also include the new special format of speed dating one-to-one interviews with employers, where students can express their interest in the list of available positions and secure a work placement on the day. The diverse range of ongoing activities will offer practical step-by-step advice on how to achieve career goals.

Attendees will have the chance to visit stands located at the Harrow Campus Forum and discuss their topics of interest and future partnerships and collaborations with representatives of a long list of creative and entrepreneurial businesses. The Creative Talent Festival will end with an evening reception for visitors to network further.
