Students on the Television Production BA Honours course attended the recording of BBC Television political debate programme 'Question Time' in Romford at the end of November.

The students were hosted by the long-standing director of the programme Rob Hopkins, met the crew and watched the production process behind the live show during the camera rehearsal. They then joined the audience for the recording, presented by David Dimbleby.

The visit was part of the teaching of the second year Television Production BA course in multi-camera studio production.

The module leader Ged Maguire said: "This was a rare opportunity for a group of students to see the inner workings of a prestige live TV show at first hand. It was very generous of Rob Hopkins to share his insights with our students as he prepared to record the show."
