Westminster colleagues from the Admissions team and current student Anisa Islam are taking part in a UCAS Facebook Live event at 4pm on Thursday 6 August to share the University of Westminster’s Guide to Clearing.

The live event is designed to offer advice and guidance to prospective students who are applying for university for a 2020 entry and are thinking about applying through Clearing. The event will also provide a platform to support parents and guardians of applicants to give them guidance of the Clearing process and what they should expect for their children.

Panelists taking part in the event include Westminster Director of Global Recruitment and Admissions Adrian Dutch, Head of Admissions Samantha Matthews and current student Anisa Islam who joined Westminster through Clearing. It will last for approximately one hour and will be hosted by UCAS through Facebook Live.

The Admissions team will discuss a range of queries around Clearing, including how Westminster will interact with applicants on the day and in the lead up to Results Day on 13 August, prospective students’ questions they can help with, the times that phone lines open, how Westminster prepares for Clearing and how applicants can organise themselves to be fully prepared on the day.

Current student Anisa Islam, who came to Westminster through Clearing, will join the Admissions team to provide a first-hand experience of her journey through Clearing and what she has achieved since she accepted her place at Westminster. She will also be able to share some helpful advice she would offer to those who are now at the start of their Clearing journey and answer any questions applicants may have.
