The University of Westminster has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture (BUCEA) boosting its ability to collaborate on research, global mobility and joint academic projects.

A respected delegation from BUCEA were welcomed to the University by Professor Alexandra Hughes, Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Global Engagement, Professor David Dernie, Dean of the Faculty of Architecture and the Built Environment, and Professor Harry Charrington, Head of the Architecture Department, to explore a range of collaborative opportunities.

The BUCEA group were visiting the University of Westminster for the first time, and were taken on a tour of the studios and facilities of the Faculty of Architecture and Built Environment based at the University’s Marylebone Campus.

David Dernie, Dean of Faculty of Architecture and Built Environment said:

“The Faculty of Architecture and the Built Environment is delighted with this partnership and look forward to engaging with one of China’s leading institutions around research and exchange in architecture, urban design and environment.“
