Royal Economic Society PhD Meetings 2016, hosted by Westminster Business School on 8–9 January 2016, is a free event for PhD students to attend in order to give them the edge in the job market.

The event is open both to those currently looking for employment, as well as to PhD students who are planning to enter the job market in the near future. During the PhD Meetings, attendees are able to meet with employers and recruiting institutions.

The two keynote talks will feature Professor Daniel Hamermesh, University of Texas, on negotiating the job market and Professor Frederic Vermeulen, Editor of The Economic Journal, on how to get published.

The Royal Economic Society PhD Meetings 2016 registration is now open.
