Christian Fuchs, WIAS Director and Chair of the ESA Conference Committee 2015-2017, and Frank Welz, ESA President 2015-2017, have written a thorough conference report that may be of interest to scholars interested in the theme “(Un)Making Europe: Capitalism, Solidarities, Subjectivities”. 

The European Sociological Association's (ESA) 2017 conference focused on the changes and problems that contemporary European capitalism is undergoing. 

With 3.581 participants, the 13th Conference of the European Sociological Association was the largest event in the 25-year long history of the organisation.
