The University of Westminster has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at RMIT Vietnam, building on existing connections with RMIT and paving the way for new partnership activities in Vietnam, including staff and student mobility and collaborative programme development.

Professor Alexandra Hughes, Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Global Engagement, visited Vietnam in order further to consolidate current University links and explore new partnerships. She led a delegation of colleagues from Westminster, including Professor Kerstin Mey, Pro Vice-Chancellor and Dean of Westminster School of Media, Arts and Design; Faculty Internationalisation Directors Dr Nancy Stevenson (Faculty of Architecture and the Built Environment), Mr Patrick Lees (Faculty of Science and Technology), Dr Peter Catterall (Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities) and Mr Jon Pike (Westminster Business School); and Ms Polly Lu, Recruitment Officer for South East Asia.

Westminster has been actively involved in Vietnamese educational partnerships for over a decade, and has an active alumni group of Vietnamese graduates and an engaged student society in London. Vietnam, which is a dynamic and fast-evolving economy, will remain a key market for the University.

Internationalisation is central to our strategic vision and identity, and we have extensive connections with universities and industries throughout the world.
