The exhibition, 'People Are Strange/ When You're A Stranger’ is a mixed media show presenting different perspectives on strangeness and what we find strange in ourselves using art work from students, curated by students.

MA Museums, Galleries and Contemporary Culture students, Marta Di Gioia, from Italy, Chahrazed Djennas from Luxembourg, Clarisa Puerto from Honduras and Laure Nermel from France were encouraged to put their new found skills and learning into practice.

Peter Ride, Course leader for Museums, Galleries and Contemporary Culture, said: ”It’s research through practice and the students have agreed to take ownership of different specialist areas: Marta design and layout, Clarisa interpretation material, Chahra events and Laure promotion and communication.”

Laure Nermel from France said: “This is an excellent opportunity for us to have first hand experience of curating, since we will all be looking for a job in the art world afterwards.”
