The Mayor of London, Boris Johnson, is on the search for five budding student ambassadors to help promote the prestigious London Low Carbon Entrepreneur 2015 competition.

Five lucky ambassadors from every university and college across the city will receive a great CV boost with free training on communication, presentation and wider engagement skills, as well the chance to win a two-week work experience placement at London City Hall.

The student ambassadors will play an important role spreading the word about the competition throughout their University. The competition aims to make London a better place to live and work by reducing London’s carbon emissions.

There is a £20,000 prize fund to help entrepreneurs develop the most impressive ideas, and up to six paid internships with sponsor Siemens available to students who enter the competition.

You may be a budding student ambassador wanting to help promote the competition in your university, or even interested in applying for the competition yourself. Either way City Hall needs you!

To apply or to find out more, all you have to do to sign up is email [email protected] with your name, institution, course title, email address, mobile number and term time address, and you'll be contacted once the competition opens.

Good luck!
