Did you know that one in three 18-24-year-olds are not registered to vote?
Or that only one in four people who have lived at their address for up to a year are on the electoral roll?
Around seven million people across the UK don’t have a voice in matters that affect them because they aren’t correctly registered to vote.
Some groups remain less likely to be registered than others – young people, home movers, students and BME communities.
If you are not registered to vote, you will need to register by Monday 22 May to vote at the UK general election.
In England, Scotland and Wales you can register to vote at gov.uk/register-to-vote.
Think ahead and make sure you can vote!
