The finalists for this year’s Westminster Alumni Awards have been announced and voting is now open to the public.

The Alumni Awards recognise and celebrate the outstanding achievements of graduates from the University of Westminster and its predecessors, including the Polytechnic of Central London, Regent Street Polytechnic and its Transnational Education partner institutions.
The awards highlight the ways in which Westminster graduates make a real impact across the globe. In 2026, almost 400 submissions were received and colleagues from across the University helped shortlist candidates, resulting in four finalists per category. Members of the public can read about the amazing and diverse achievements of our finalists and vote for who they think deserves to win in each category.
The seven categories are Contribution to the Creative Industries Award, Entrepreneurial Award, Lifetime Achievement Award, London Impact Award, Outstanding Achievement Award, Recent Graduate Award and Social Impact Award.
The University of Westminster has a large global alumni network with over 200,000 alumni in more than 180 countries around the world. Alumni have access to a range of events and opportunities to stay involved in university life through Zone29, Westminster’s new home for careers and enterprise. This includes the Graduate Success Series, Westminster Enterprise Network and the What it Takes event series.
Haydn Worley, Alumni Relations Manager at the University of Westminster, said: “It is so great to see all the amazing things our alumni achieve each year and we are so happy to be able to celebrate them. Congratulations to all our wonderful finalists and good luck in the public vote!”
