Professor Sadie Morgan, Professor of Professional Practice, has been appointed to the board of Homes England, a non-departmental public body that funds new affordable housing across England.

Professor Morgan is one of four people who are joining the committee of Homes England, a government housing accelerator that was founded in January 2018 to ‘build better homes faster’.

She has also played an important role in a number of other projects, including Chair of the Independent Design Panel for HS2 and a design advocate for the Mayor of London.

Speaking about her newly appointed role, Sadie Morgan said: “As part of the board’s agenda to build more sustainable and high-quality houses, my energy will be focused on delivering homes for people and places.

“I understand how vital the role of Homes England is to help house our nation, and I am committed to ensuring we do so and to deliver a quality of life everyone deserves.
