Politics and International Relations BA students on the third-year module Gender and Politics visited The Women's Library collection, held at the London School of Economics library, in November 2017.

Gillian Murphy, Curator for Equality, Citizenship and Rights selected materials including the first letters written to John Stuart Mill about women's right to vote, Suffragette and anti-Suffragette campaign literature, the 1970 Miss World protests and the Greenham Common Women's Peace Camp for the students to look through.

Module leader Dr Daniel Conway said: "It was great to see some rare and interesting materials relating to the development of the women's movement and feminist activism in the UK."
