Plug In Your Brain is back for another season. The Department of Psychology at the University of Westminster is proud to announce the line-up for our free season of talks about psychology.

Our 2014/15 programme opens on Thursday 23 October, with a talk by Professor Richard Wiseman on the psychology of luck. For many years, Professor Wiseman has worked with some of the world's luckiest and unluckiest people to find out what it takes to be lucky.

On Thursday 27 November, join broadcaster and BBC Radio 4 presenter Claudia Hammond for an exploration of time perception. Drawing on the latest research from psychology and neuroscience, Claudia asks why time warps when we least expect it and how the mind keeps track of time.

Finally, on Thursday 12 February, award-winning journalist David Adam leads a discussion of darkest thoughts. David will describe his own struggle with obsessive-compulsive disorder and will challenge you to think again about what is 'normal'.
