 The following provisions have been implemented to help minimize inconvenience:

  • The return date for any item loaned or renewed 5 – 8 June will be extended past 13 June.

  • Laptops will be loanable from library service counters.

  • During staffed hours our team will be available to issue and return items for you at library counters. 

The Improvements

In June 2017 the Library will be switching to a new IT management system that will enable us to manage our print and electronic resources together. These backroom improvements mean that:

  • we can more accurately report on spend and usage of library resources to inform value for money decisions

  • there will be efficiencies in our procurement and acquisitions processes

  • we will be able to provide faculties with detailed analytics for the first time
