Some great news this month from some of our LLM Entertainment Law students.

First, Hajo Rupp, class of 2012 has had his dissertation entitled ‘Towards an integrated justification of copyright between cultural theory, economic theory and reality’ published by Wissenschaftlicher Verlag in Berlin. Details on ordering this available here.

Second, Eben Duah (LLM Entertainment Law, 2007) and current doctoral candidate at Aberystwyth has had ‘An injunction to prevent access to copyright infringing content, or perhaps not yet: UK perspective’ published in the International Review of Law, Computers and Technology. Our current Technology Rights and Law students on the LLM also benefitted from Eben’s expertise last month when he gave a guest seminar to the class.

Finally, Sven Preiss (LLM Entertainment Law, 2011) and now a lawyer at SKW Schwarz in Berlin has had a short article accepted for the Entertainment and Sports Law Journal, see the link here.

Good news all round!
