The online Entertainment and Sports Law Journal (ESLJ) has moved to its new home and will be published by the University of Westminster Press.

The areas the journal encompasses are interdisciplinary, taking in entertainment law, media law, sports law, IP law and licensing law. Areas that are of interest include the ways in which law intersects with, or the regulatory frameworks that exist within, the following industries: music, sport, cinema/film, theatre/literature, internet (both creation and distribution), social media, gaming, the night-time economy, art and gambling.

The ESLJ, established in 2002, was an early pioneer of open access publishing, appearing from 2004 as part of the University of Warwick’s Electronic Law Journals Project (ELJP). It is now being published by the University of Westminster Press, one of several university presses globally who work within the Ubiquity Press’s open access Partnership Network.

ESLJ is ready to accept new submissions. To send submissions contributors can find details on the website or to discuss an idea should email the editors or a relevant section editor. The journal publishes iteratively which means submissions are welcome at any time and may be published quickly subject to peer review for all research articles. Topical material is especially welcome.
