The project aims to understand and improve urban experiments’ capacity to drive systemic transformational change within the built environment by identifying challenges and barriers that inhibit their roll-out and uptake. To this end, the research will include a detailed comparative case study analysis of several peer-to-peer energy sharing initiatives. This will help assess their role as drivers of change and uncover any implications on how they can enhance their contributions to systemic transformational change outside of, and beyond, the status quo.
