The Morag Dryden scholarship is a one-off award of £2000 for a postgraduate student doing well academically on an English Literature or Language programme.

The scholarship has been awarded to PhD student Kate Turner, who is in her second year of full-time study. Kate is working on contemporary Scottish writing in the context of what she calls the 'queer moment' of post-devolution Scotland. Kate received her award from her Director of Studies, Dr Monica Germana.
The Faculty is very grateful to Morag and her family for this generous donation.
