May news from the Centre for Law, Society and Popular Culture.

Guy Osborn, along with Matt Morrison from the Department of English, Linguistics and Cultural Studies, were successful in a funding bid for a series of performances and events to take place in the basement of Little Titchfield Street in November, as part of the British Academy's Being Human Festival. Our event is entitled ‘Found Theatre and Poetry: Disrupting the Everyday’. More details to follow as we have them.

Paresh Kathrani organised a well attended event entitled Technology and Legal Practice on 16 May. Paresh has been prolific in organising events under the banner of 'Law and Artificial Intelligence', part of the Film Matters series, as well as other excellent events we are delighted to have hosted or co-hosted over the past two years.

Chris Ellins published an excellent blog to commemorate David Bowie playing the Poly as Ziggy Stardust 45 years ago.

Finally, we were delighted to arrange for a group of students to attend the Pink Floyd This Mortal Remains exhibition at the Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A). This was our second trip to the V&A, following our trip related to the Film Matters 1966 series last year.
