The fair was the result of an annual collaboration between the Career Development Centre and Westminster Law School. Representatives from the three strands within the legal professions were present and supported by over 20 legal services providers and professional bodies.
Among the leading organisations and employers giving presentations and participating in the workshops were Hodge Jones & Allen, Clarkson Wright & Jakes Ltd, Amicus, Co-operative Legal and the Prisoners’ Advisory Service.
BLD Foundation said they were “really impressed with the student attendance and came back because of the quality of applications they had historically received from Westminster students”. Leading law firm Hodge Jones and Allen “really enjoyed the event” and were happy to be “working with a university with which we have a positive working relationship.”
Many of the exhibitors are already looking forward to next year’s event and have started exploring further opportunities to meet with our students during the academic year in preparation for the legal Careers Fair 2014.
