The 2016/17 Destinations of Leavers from Higher Education (DLHE) results show an increase in the proportion of Westminster graduates in professional or managerial employment.

According to the latest survey, 73 per cent of Westminster’s employed undergraduate leavers are employed in professional or managerial occupations six months after completing a course at the University*. In the past five years, Westminster has seen an increase of 19 percentage points amongst employed undergraduate leavers working in professional roles.

For postgraduate leavers, 96 per cent of our employed graduates are working in professional or managerial roles.

Our improved performance in graduate employment in last year’s DLHE results made a significant contribution to the University rising 13 places, up to 82nd position, in the latest Complete University Guide.

DLHE 2016/17 results refer to graduates who completed a course at University of Westminster between 1 August 2016 and 31 July 2017.

4,346 of our graduates took part in this latest survey, putting our overall response rate at 64 per cent. The DLHE survey will be replaced by the new Graduate Outcomes survey from December 2018 and will survey graduates approximately 15 months after completing their studies.
