Deadline for applications: Monday 13 October
Team Up – an organisation focused on transforming the prospects of young people at school and university – is looking for our brightest students to join their Rising Leaders programme and help them tackle educational disadvantage.
Team Up Rising Leaders are inspirational figures who help to make a real positive change to the lives of young people.
Different ways to join
As a tutor
Team Up tutors are the lifeblood of the organisation. As a tutor, you'll be going out every week to schools to inspire young minds and transform pupils' life chances. You'll be the intervention that kick-starts their academic careers, giving them the tools to fulfill their potential.
To become a tutor, you'll need to be attentive, flexible in your approach and, above all, willing to go the extra mile to make a difference. Tutoring is a rewarding activity and you'll never get a better feeling than when they finally understand a difficult topic.
As a school officer
As a school officer, you'll be responsible for a team of tutors and their pupils. You'll be in a school every week, working with regional managers and a school co-ordinator to give your team the support they need.
You'll be our eyes and ears on the ground – the first to deal with problems and the first to see the progress your team is making.
You'll need to be a strong communicator and administrator – getting the simple admin tasks done quickly but effectively to enable your team to flourish.
As a society founder
As a society founder, you'll create a student community of passionate students at the University.
With the employer programme
You can also combine one of the above roles with an employer-led programme of workshops, networking, mentoring and fast-track opportunities.
Team Up programmes run in conjunction with PwC, Credit Suisse, Norton Rose Fulbright and Lloyds Banking Group.
